Practi-Insulin teaching packs were created to make pre-clinical practice of combined insulin dosages available for a safe and realistic laboratory experience.

Each pack contains 40 vials and provides a comprehensive learning experience for students requiring the basic skills of reading labels, combining insulin’s, and calculating dosages.

Practi-Insulin Training Pack™, for clinical training, includes a total of forty 10 mL vials: 20 vials labeled Practi-Insulin™ Regular and 20 vials labeled Practi-Insulin™ NPH.

Student Practice Includes:

• Identification and understanding of the most commonly used, regular and NPH insulin
• Reading and interpreting insulin labels
• Mixing and combining long and short acting insulin
• Calculating insulin dosages
• Use of the U-100 insulin syringe
