Wallcur Practi-Haloperidol (for training)
Wallcur Practi-Haloperidol (for training) is a 1 mL glass tint vial filled with 1 mL of distilled water. Properly labeled dosage of 5 mg/mL, this teaching aid perfectly simulates light-sensitive drug haloperidol (Haldol®), an antipsychotic medication that decreases excitement in the brain and is used to treat psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, to control motor (movement) and verbal (Tourette’s syndrome) tics, mania in bipolar disorder, amongst other conditions.
Teach small vial handling, dosage calculation skills, and other skills unique to handling a controlled substance in a 1 mL vial. A must have medical simulation aid for EMT, EMS, Pharmacy and Nursing skills training.
