Base of recessed area is made of soft material that permits port to “float” when accessed When placed over port, included tissue flap allows for a realistic feel when palpating and accessing.
When attached, peripheral port will “float” on the underlying tissue-like material. Recessed area is covered with a removable flap that has the feel of human tissue which, when placed over the optional port, provides the realistic practice of palpating and accessing.

The two round inserts, used to simulate the “wandering” and “tipping” port, are interchangeable to vary the experience. The skin flap has two thicknesses: the 1/4 in. side will approximate the “feel” when palpating a port at an average depth, and the 1/2 in. side will approximate the “feel” when palpating a deeply placed port.
